WHY WE STARTED

It started with our friends.
Not a business plan.

  1. A couple of years ago

    Brilliant friends started losing their jobs.

    Not for lack of talent. AI was rewriting their work faster than they could rewrite themselves.

  2. Then they called us

    They knew what we do.

    We’d spent our careers pioneering AI research and leading AI products. And we’ve always been teachers at heart.

  3. So we started teaching

    Training. Upskilling. One friend at a time.

    No pitch deck. No pricing. We just wanted to help people we cared about.

  4. We tried to scale it

    We put everything into a GitHub repo.

    We called it RoleReady.ai: seven chapters of courses, notebooks and slides — the best material we knew.

  5. It didn’t land

    The material wasn’t made for them.

    Our friends were smart. The content still lost them. Three problems kept showing up:

      Written for engineers, not for a marketer, a manager or a recruiter.

    2. 02Hard to follow

      It assumed background knowledge they never had a reason to learn.

    3. 03Not recent

      AI changes every few weeks. Material written last year was already out of date.

  6. So we got personal

    We built a curriculum for each person.

    Their role. Their level. Their real work. That’s when it clicked.
